Dr. Pete Olsen is a visionary physician, educator, and leader dedicated to transforming the future through functional and longevity medicine.

As the CEO of Thrive Longevity Clinic, he brings a wealth of experience spanning emergency medicine, hospital leadership, international medical missions, and advanced patient-centered care.

His passion for root-cause medicine, prevention, and holistic health optimization is the driving force behind Thrive’s mission to empower patients to achieve optimal health and longevity.

Dr. Olsen graduated with honors in biology and high honors in religion from St. Olaf College in 2002, initially pursuing a career in international medical mission work. He went on to earn his medical degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School and completed the Duluth Family Medicine Residency Program in 2013. His early career saw him thrive in emergency medicine, quickly rising to Trauma Medical Director at Cloquet Community Memorial Hospital, where he expanded healthcare resources and established a reputation as an exceptional educator. His expertise led him to train physicians in multiple states, including United States Embassy Physicians at the request of the U.S. State Department in 2015.

Driven by his passion for global healthcare, Dr. Olsen and his wife, Angela, were accepted as full-time medical missionaries to Kenya in 2014 with World Gospel Mission (WGM). He served as Head of Inpatient Pediatrics & NICU at Tenwek Mission Hospital, covering internal medicine, obstetrics, and surgical obstetrics while training local physicians. As a faculty member of Kabarak University Family Medicine Residency Program, he played a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of doctors in East Africa.

After returning to the U.S., Dr. Olsen resumed his work in rural emergency medicine, continuing to teach and train healthcare providers through the Comprehensive Advanced Life Support (CALS) program. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he served as Vice President of Medical Affairs for M Health Fairview Range Hospital, where he led initiatives to optimize patient care during one of the most challenging healthcare crises in modern history.

In 2020, Dr. Olsen and his family relocated to Northeast Florida to provide their son, Sam, with access to specialized education. Now, as the CEO of Thrive Longevity Clinic in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida, he applies his extensive experience in functional medicine, longevity, and holistic health to help patients take a proactive approach to well-being. Jessica Keeney brings over two decades of experience in emergency medical services, education, and community outreach to her role as Wellness Coordinator at Thrive Longevity Clinic. A passionate advocate for holistic health and human connection, Jessica leads Thrive’s wellness programming and is responsible for training and mentoring the clinic’s wellness coaches.

Jessica graduated Summa Cum Laude from Concordia University with a degree in Psychology and a minor in Family and Parent Coaching. Her early career was rooted in education, where she taught at Head Start and Apple Academy, and later earned her substitute teaching license in Minnesota. Her dedication to helping others, especially children, stems from a lifelong belief in the power of recognizing one’s inherent value and potential.

Jessica has been nationally recognized for her outstanding service, receiving the American Ambulance Association’s Star of Life Award and the Pillar Award for exceptional customer service. She has led initiatives in Employee Wellness, Charitable Missions, and Community Outreach, and was honored in Washington, D.C. for her efforts in serving her community.

Her commitment to education and outreach extends to frequent speaking engagements with classrooms, homeschool groups, and youth organizations like Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and 4-H. She is certified in suicide intervention as well as individual and group crisis response.

Jessica currently serves as Vice Chair of the board for the Invisible Wounds Project, a nonprofit supporting first responders and veterans. She is also a member of the Minneapolis Metro Critical Incident Team, where she supports police, fire, EMS, and dispatch personnel after traumatic events.

With a unique blend of frontline experience, emotional intelligence, and a deep-rooted passion for people, Jessica is an essential part of Thrive Longevity Clinic’s mission to help individuals live healthier, more purposeful lives.
